Paige Jones, Park City, UTFly Girl

Hello my name is Paige Jones and I have been Nordic ski jumping since I was 9. I started ski jumping with my younger sister on alpine skis as part of the introduction program at the Utah Olympic Park. I was hooked!  I had finally found a sport where being little is not a disadvantage. I was so excited when I got to use the much longer Nordic skis – what a different feeling!

I love when I jump and I don’t have to fight the wind, just fly. I feel like a bird, floating on its’ wings. I have jumped the 60 meter hill in both Park City, Utah and Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I hope to jump the 90 meter hill soon, and next year I want to make the PCNSC 2016 Junior National Team.

    Fundraising for Fly Girls Camp!
I have been selected to take part in the 2015 Fly Girls Camp and Program, hosted by Women’s Ski Jumping USA. This is an invitation camp for the top U.S. juniors. The cost of the 5-week-long camp is $2,000 and WSJ-USA is matching up to $1,000 of what I raise on this RallyMe campaign. Up to this point my parents have sponsored me 100%. This summer I want to help contribute by fundraising myself (with the help of VISA). The camp will help me improve in the sport and accomplish my goals. I can’t wait to see how far I can fly!

Thank you for your support and check out the cool swag we have to offer as a gift for your support. No amount is too small!
