Current Year Scholarship Recipients

The Far West Ski Foundation has announced the 2025-2026 Athletic Scholarship recipients for junior racers.  This program is designed to provide financial assistance to junior ski racers throughout the western United States where Far West Ski Association has a presence.

The Athletic Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, athletic performance, academic achievement, and community service.  The program, now in its 22nd year, has grown from an initial $1,000 in scholarships in 2004 to $12,450 and 20 deserving junior racer recipients in the 2025-2026 season.  FWSA has awarded 298 scholarships to 174 different athletes for a total of $229,450.
