Cara Larson, Barrington, ILFly Girl

Hi I’m Cara Larson! I’m 14 years old and I’ve been ski jumping since I was 5 years old. For the past 9 years of my ski jumping career a lot has happened! I’ve crashed into a dog, met so many amazing people, crashed some more, and learned how to fly through the air.

For the past few years I’ve really started to develop as an athlete. In 2014, I won Junior Nationals in Anchorage, Alaska. That following summer I got the opportunity to be apart of the very first Fly Girls Camp. I got so much exposure being apart of the camp and grew my love and skill with the sport, so much that I was named to the Women’s National Ski Jumping Team that fall!

The winter of 2015, I won Junior Nationals in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. With all this momentum driving me forward, I’m excited for another summer at the Fly Girls Camp to take my skills to a higher level.

    Fundraising for Fly Girls Camp!
I have been selected again to take part in the 2015 Fly Girls Camp and Program, hosted by Women’s Ski Jumping USA. This is an invitation camp for the top U.S. juniors. The cost of the 5-week-long camp is $2,000 and WSJ-USA is matching up to $1,000 of what I raise on this RallyMe campaign.

Thank you for your support and check out the cool swag we have to offer as a gift for your support. No amount is too small!
