Anna Hoffmann, Madison, WIFly Girl

My name is Anna Hoffmann. I am 15 years old and the youngest of four kids in my family. We all grew up ski jumping together at the Blackhawk Ski Club and I began jumping at the age of 2. Even though I was basically born into a ski jumping family, I keep with the sport because I love the thrill of going down the jump and feeling like I am flying.

Recently, this past winter, I went off my first Olympic size, 90-meter jump in Steamboat, Colorado. It was so much fun and it gave me a whole new perspective of ski jumping. I hope to be able to compete on bigger jumps someday and to do well on them. I want to continue to improve my skills and to have new experiences in ski jumping so that I can reach my full ski jumping potential.

Besides ski jumping, I play piano, make pottery and draw. I also play soccer and run cross country for my high school.

    Fundraising for Fly Girls Camp!
I have been selected to take part in the 2015 Fly Girls Camp and Program, hosted by Women’s Ski Jumping USA. This is an invitation camp for the top U.S. juniors. The cost of the 5-week-long camp is $2,000 and WSJ-USA is matching up to $1,000 of what I raise on this RallyMe campaign. I feel fortunate to have this unique opportunity to attend the Fly Girls Camp. Fly Girls will be a great way to do this. I look forward to training with the other Fly Girls and I hope to make some great improvements this summer.

Thank you for your support and check out the cool swag we have to offer as a gift for your support. No amount is too small!
